Letter from BPS IT Department - iPad Insurance

April 13, 2017


Dear BHS Parents,

You may or may not be aware that GoCare (the past recommended iPad insurance company) is no longer in business and all policies were transferred to Worth Ave Group.  Individual policy holders were informed of the change in providers, given login credentials, and how to file a claim.  All parents should have received this providing there was a correct email provided when they signed up for coverage through the GoCare portal.

If your son/daughter has a broken iPad, he/she should always go to the HelpDesk (located in the upper BHS library) and see Mr. Wong to determine the best course of action.  If a claim needs to be placed with Worth Ave Group and you have questions, please feel free to contact  me in the IT Department (781-238-6800 or sateriale@bpsk12.org).  I will be able to help you get your claim initiated and get the answers you need.

If your son/daughter has an uninsured iPad and you are interested in purchasing an iPad protection policy with Worth Ave Group, there will be an opportunity to do so during the month of May.  WAG is in the process of setting up a new policy purchase portal for Burlington parents.  We are anticipating a 1 year policy will cost $30-$35 per year with more of a savings when purchasing multiple years.
