Burlington High School’s Drama Club will present William Shakespeare’s Romantic Comedy, Twelfth Night

Burlington High School’s Drama Club will present William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, "Twelfth Night, or What You Will” on November 19 and 20, in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center of Burlington High School.

Believed to have been written and first performed in the early 17th century for the close of the Christmas season, Twelfth Night’s plot and subplots are filled with riotous twists and turns, involving a cross-dressing, ship-wreck surviving, poetry-loving girl who finds herself at the center of a not so average love triangle.” (schmoop) Home of the Shakespearean phrase, “If music be the food of life, play on,” Twelfth Night is thought to be one of the most popular and musical of Shakespeare’s romcoms loved the world over.
