Burlington High School Activity Fair Scheduled for 9/10

Beginning at our freshman orientation and continuing into our class meetings this week, a message that we continue to reiterate to students is to get involved at Burlington High School!

Being an active participant in any one or more of our extracurriculars activities, joining a club, or playing a sport, can help amplify a student's high school experience. Aligning with a club, activity, or sport is also a great way to meet new people, can help lead to better attendance rates, and raise academic achievement for students. In addition, participation can foster important life skills such as teamwork, goal setting, resiliency, leadership, and much more.

To learn about ways to get involved, the high school administration encourages students to participate in our annual activity fair on Thursday, September 10th, from 1:45-2:30.

This annual event allows students to learn about different clubs and activities that are offered at Burlington High School. Students can speak to students that are involved in the different organizations, learn more information, and to sign up to participate if they're interested. The activity fair is open to all students, but is especially helpful for our 9th graders and new students who have yet to see first hand the variety of ways to get involved and to be engaged outside of the classroom at BHS.
