MASSAGES, MUSIC and RACE WARM UPs! Lots of great vendors, activities and fun are to be had at BEF’s Road Race on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA 01803. Come at 8AM to register and enjoy pre-race warm ups with Lucky13 Fitness, a chair massage from The Way Massage Therapy. Grab some Muscle Milk or take a turn on the Party Central inflatable bounce! Post race food supplied by Whole Foods.
This race day is filled with hundreds of runners, walkers and spectators. The certified 5K (through the streets of Burlington) is preceded by a ½ mile Family Fun Run on school property around Burlington High School. You don’t want to miss this energized community event with music, vendors, prizes, free samples, and great family fun.

All pre-registered runners are automatically entered to win an hour Massage at Elements Massage Therapy
The 5K boasts tech shirts and the Family Fun Run includes an official cotton race shirt, guaranteed for pre-registered participants.T-shirt designed by BHS senior Jeff Turri (thanks to George Ratkevich, department chair and teacher at BHS, for once again coordinating student submissions for Race T-shirt designs).

We are seeking volunteers for the day.  We typically have 50-60 helpers on race day.  The shifts run from 8:00 am – 11:00 am with many being 1-2 hours (more if you like). All you need is a smile, we supply the t-shirt!
As an added benefit, Burlington High School students receive scholarship points with Adopt-A-Class, or Community service hours. Simply RSVP to Jean Golding at and indicate any time constraints and we will reserve a spot in accordance with your time available.
