Holiday Traditions at BHS

BHS had its annual Holiday Traditions on Friday, December 20.

Holiday Traditions is a school-wide event for over a 1,000+ students; that provides an opportunity for students to express their diverse cultures and backgrounds.  Students and their families may prepare food, design a poster and explain to others about their culture as well as go around and learn about the cultures of others.  There is music, fun, dancing from BHS dance troupes,  drumming from our elite BHS Drum Line, and the always popular Grinch played by the BHS Band.

Thanks to Mr. Adam Chiocca and the students in the Multicultural Club for organizing the event, please enjoy the short video from Holiday Traditions below.

Happy Holidays!

  1. Fantastico! Maravilosa! One teacher ... said it best, as she described our newest dance troupe, the Nachle Bollywood Dancers; she said "I had tears in my eyes." "Such grace, such poise - they were wonderful!"
Thanks so much to Ms. Sullivan, Ms. Bilotta and Mr. Lovell, for helping to make this day a special part of our collective memory, through their support and direction of clubs and the BHS Marching Band. Thank you, Mr. Chiocca, Teacher, BHS
