I am happy to announce that Burlington High School has added another course in our Dual Enrollment offerings with Middlesex Community College.
As we continue to expand both our dual enrollment program and our articulation agreements with Middlesex Community College, we recently finalized an agreement for the Burlington High School Child Development Program. Any student that completes Child Development I and Child Development II with a B or better, and if that student attends Middlesex, he or she will be granted 3 college credits.
The other courses for dual enrollment credit at the high are Honors Calculus I, taught by Mrs. Dixon and Honors Portfolio, taught by Mr Ratkevich. Students are eligible to receive Middlesex Community College credit, in addition to Burlington High School credit, upon the successful completion of either of these two courses.
We are excited to continue this excellent opportunity for Burlington High School students. There has been a push nationally and regionally to engage more high school students in college coursework before they graduate from high school and our relationship with MCC allows us to do this.
