Eight Burlington High School DECA (an association of marketing and management students) members attended the 54th annual conference at the Copley Marriott Hotel March 14th-17th to compete for a spot at the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim.

All eight students received Achievement Awards for reaching competency in their respective categories and the team of Chai/Bhatt received top ten honors for their efforts in Travel and Tourism Team Decision Making.
Receiving Achievement awards were the team of Brianna Esposito and Nicole Rigby in Hospitality and Tourism Marketing, Kristyna Flaherty in Apparel and Accessories Marketing, Joseph Conti and Jacob Goldstein in Sports and Entertainment Marketing Series Event.
The State DECA Conference hosted over 1700 students covering seven districts and 64 high schools. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, sports and entertainment and hospitality and tourism.
