Burlington High Wrestler Shares Glory With Opponent Who Has Down Syndrome

CBS News featured a story on a wrestling match between BHS Junior Steven Giampapa and Wakefield Sophomore Danny Gill. It was a "match that didn’t get a lot of attention, but it should have".  It certainly is an uplifting story - Steven shows what we want our students athletes to embody:  being a positive role model, Leadership, sportsmanship, and confidence.  And Danny certainly shows what athletics are all about; self-esteem, character development, teamwork, and dedication.
