BHS Student For Environmental Action In Action

Guest Post from SEA Advisor Nat Ladd

Burlington High School's, Students for Environmental Action (SEA), partnered with the Burlington Conservation Commission and DPW to tag storm drains in some Burlington neighborhoods last week.

This is the third year that the SEA has gone into the community to tag storm drains to bring awareness to residents of the town that whatever goes in the storm drains goes into Burlington’s drinking water system. The tags have the logo of the conservation commission and are there to remind residents not to dump into the drains.

Mr. Ladd and Ms. McInerney, co-advisors of SEA, would like to thank the dedicated members of SEA for their hard work. We would also like to thank Jodie Wennemer of the Conservation Commission for help in coordinating the day and providing the materials, the DPW for providing us cover and Principal Larkin for making sure we had a ride.
