We are pleased to announce that Toula Padadopoulos has earned national recognition in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2012, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. Earning a Silver Key in the national competition, Toula has been identified by a panel of professional artists as one of the most talented young artists in the nation. This year, 200,000 works of art and writing were submitted for to the competition. Only the top 1,500 were recognized at the national level. These students have been invited to attend a ceremony at the world-famous Carnegie Hall on June 1 and to participate in a number of showcase events at Parsons The New School of Design in New York City. We're proud to have Toula represent our school in this year's National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
