WBZ Reporter Karen Anderson came to BHS today to tour classrooms and speak to students and teachers about the impact that Steve Jobs made in education. You can see the entire WBZ report here. We hope that the innovative tool that Jobs created will give our BHS staff and students a chance to be involved in learning experiences that veer outside of the boundaries that limit many bound by outdated educational practices.
I think the following Steve Jobs quote sums up my wish for our students:
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
