Students Return To BHS September 7th!!! Some Back to School Notes

We are excited that the start of the 2011-2012 school year is just a few days away and we eagerly await Wednesday, September 7 when we our hallways will once again be filled with BHS students!

Here are a couple of reminders regarding opening day:

School Picture Day is Opening Day!
Burlington studios will be on hand on opening day to take school pictures. All students will report to the BHS Auditorium during Health/Physical Education or another elective class on Wednesday to have their pictures taken for their school ID. There is no cost for the ID pictures and families will have the option of purchasing school pictures from Burlington Studios.


iPad Update 


All students will receive the protective sleeves for their iPads (shown below) during homeroom on opening day.  For those few remaining students who have not yet picked up their iPads, they will need to return the iPad Responsibility and Acceptable Use form with parent signatures before being issued their iPad. This form can be accessed here. 


Opening Day At BHS


As always, homeroom will begin promptly at BHS at 7:30 a.m.  During our extended homeroom period on opening day, 9th graders and new students will be issued lockers. All students will be walked through the process to upload the e-publication of our students handbook to their iPad.  Other annual back-to-school paperwork will also be distributed (i.e. emergency contact information, connect-ed phone numbers, insurance and school lunch forms).

Lunch Reminder


A reminder that our cafeteria uses a cashless system that is linked to each students ID number. Students will just need to enter their ID-number at the register to pay for lunch. As was the case last year, parents can add money to their student's account by going to paypams.com.
