We are both excited and anxious about rolling out over 1,000 iPads in the next few weeks as we prepare for the start of the 2011-2012 school year at BHS. As we get set for our first distribution day which will take place in the BHS Auditorium on Monday. Due to our annual summer cleaning and various projects which are ongoing, we are asking students and parents to enter the auditorium by the outside handicap entrance. The entire process will take place in the auditorium.
In addition, we wanted to review a few other details one more time. First, you need to have signed up for a time to come in and receive your iPad. All of the times for Monday and Tuesday have been filled, but there are still openings in other times. The reason for having time slots is due to the fact that we are limiting the sessions to 50 students per session so that we can provide as much individualized attention as possible. In addition, we will be adding more options next week for students and parents who have conflicts with the times that are remaining.
