Summer Edcamp Sessions On Tuesdays at BHS - Join Us For Free PD!

Last summer, I made an effort to connect with some local educators by hosting sessions every Tuesday at BHS on a variety of topics regarding technology integration and the use of social media tools.   It was a great opportunity to connect with other local educators and it provided an opportunity to share our expertise in different areas.

This summer, we will be opening our doors once again for anyone interested as we host BHS Summer Edcamp sessions each Tuesday.  In the spirit of edcamp, the topics discussed will be driven by the attendees.  Educators from all levels and discipline are welcome, so spread the word and check out the BHS Summer Edcamp Wikipage (designed by Andy Marcinek) to keep up with the latest information.

The outline of each Tuesday is tentatively as follows:

8-9 - Coffee and Informal Small Group discussion

 9-10 - Session 1

10-11 - Session 2

11-12  - Session 3

12-1 - Participate in #Edchat (lunch will be ordered in for those wishing to stay)

While further details are still being finalized, you can mark it on your calendar now and we hope to see you as often as you can make it to BHS.   Sessions are slated for July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 9, August 16, August 23.

  1. Thanks for running these sessions again. I learned so much last summer. I look forward to participating again, and I'll try and bring other teachers and administrators with me.
