Sophomore Derek Decastro (above) came up big in net against Andover last night.
Our BHS Boys' Hockey team opened its post season with a 3-1 win over Andover last night at the Woburn Rink in the Eastern MA Division 1 Hockey Tournament. Brett Romkey and Brian Hood put BHS up 2-0. Andover closed to within 2-1 before a third period goal by Kyle Crowley secured the win.

Senior Adam Crowley added a huge insurance goal in the third period to secure the 3-1 win.

As our hockey team was winning, things were also going in a positive direction for our BHS Boys hoop squad who had upset 5th-seeded Salem on Tuesday night.  Latin Academy also upset higher-seeded Marblehead 54-50, securing a home game for our hoop team on Saturday night against Latin Academy. 12th-seeded BHS will host the 13th-seeded Latin Academy team at 7 p.m.

Tomorrow will be a Wear Your Red Day to show support for our two tourney teams.
