Sharing Some News About Principals Who Share

I wanted to take a few minutes to share some exciting news that came in at the end of last week about a blog that I write for called Connected Principals Blog.  The blog, which was started during this past summer, was nominated in six different categories in the 2010 Annual Edublog Awards.

It has become my most valuable resource to connect with other  school administrators in regards to some of the amazing things that are being done in schools all over the world.  It is a place where administrators share best practices and have deep discussions about improving our schools.  I feel honored to be able to collaborate with so many educators who also hold the belief that we have a moral imperative to share what is happening in our schools in order to improve education in all schools.

Thanks to my friend George Couros for having the foresight to create this site. We currently have 28 contributors from all over the world sharing stories so that we can all continue to grow as learners in order to be better leaders in our schools.

If you have a moment please check out the Connected Principals Blog. If you think our efforts are worthwhile, I would ask you to take another moment to cast your vote for our blog in the following categories:

  1. Congratulations, Mr. Larkin!!! This is great news!!!

  2. You guys totally deserve the recognition. You are a bright light in the world of school administration!

  3. Congratulations Patrick! I hope you guys win at least one of the categories. Connected Principals is an amazing way to offer support to school leaders and show them how they can help their communities engage in ongoing learning with their peers!
