The BHS Google Alert - Week In Review #1

Back in July I did a couple of posts about Google Alerts, a great tool to help you keep track of on-ine mentions of topics that interest you. For me, I have set up an alert that sends me a daily e-mail that tracks mentions of Burlington High School, my name, and my Twitter name.  I think it is so important to keep tabs on what is being written about you on the web.

With this in mind, I have decided to end each week with a compilation of the things my Google Alert brings me. It is awesome to get so much good news about BHS. We are truly making our mark. I hope you all enjoy the updates as much as I do.

BHS in the News

Marcus Odiah Wins Division  Player of the Week Honors -

Alumni News

Indie Film Casts Light on BHS Grads (Chris Magliozzi and Alyssa Freedman) - From the Burlington Union - Check out the article from the Burlington Union on two of our graduates who will be appearing in an upcoming film.

BHS Principal

Every Principal Needs A Blog - I was pleasantly surprised to see a blog post that I wrote last February for the Free Technology For Teachers Blog - mentioned by Kobus van Wyck from South Africa.  It is so great to make new connections with educators from other parts of the world. In addition, I got to see the neat comic (below) that Kobus created and was kind enough to let me use here.

See you next week with more from my Google Alerts.
