BHS Proudly Supports The Day of Silence

I am proud to announce that our BHS student club Spectrum is participating in the national day Day of Silence tomorrow.  During this national day of awareness, students take a day-long vow of silence to protest the silencing, harassment, and bullying of gay, lesbian, and trans gendered people throughout the world.  Any student who wishes to participate in the Day of Silence should sign up in the Guidance Computer room on Thursday after school. Students must sign up in advance in order to participate.

Teaching tolerance is one of the most important lessons that we can impart to our students. Thanks to our Spectrum adviser Ms. Diozzi for organizing this great event at BHS.  The PR campaign this year (shown in the slideshow above) incorporated pictures of a number of staff and students.
