Our New Art Gallery Opens Thursday - Thanks To Senior Natalie Casey For Sharing Her Idea

Guest Post by BHS Art Teacher Christina Chang:

Senior Natalie Casey approached me stating “Hey, Ms. Chang, I noticed this empty office across from the cafeteria. We should make it an art gallery!” I thought: “Great idea, Natalie. Let's make it happen.” With the support of Principal Larkin, the new art gallery is now coming to life.
Thanks to Natalie Casey, Juan Aguilar, and Damian Gordon for help with painting the space.

We are thrilled to announce the opening of The Cambridge Street Gallery here at the high school, directly across from the school's cafeteria. The ribbon-cutting for the gallery will be on Thursday, March 18 at 7 pm. This coincides with the school's Open House and the art department's 37th annual Exhibition.

Geoff Silvis (BHS Class of 2006) will be exhibiting his prints and paintings (See on example below). Geoff is graduating this spring from Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford with a BFA.
