A Glimpse of Titanic The Musical From Last Night's School Committee Meeting

No offense to Dr. Conti (our Superintendent) or the Burlington School Committee Members, but School Committee meetings can be dull affairs. Fortunately, Dr. Conti and the School Committee take advantage of our many talented students to add some excitement to their meetings.

Last night, those watching on BCAT got a sneak preview of Titanic the Musical which will open here at BHS next Friday (March 20th) and run on consecutive weekends. For more info got to the BHS Titanic Blog. Also don't forget to grab your tickets at www.burlingtontickets.org. In the meantime, check out a few clips from last night's preview for the Burlington School Committee.

In the clip above - Senior David Murray (playing the ship's architect Mr. Andrews) performs a number.

In the clip above Shane Ryan (the ship's communications officer Harold Bride) and Zaven Ovian (one of the ships stokers) perform a number where the stoker is sending a telegraph home to ask his girlfriend to marry him.

In the clip shown above Adam Tigges and Bridget Hoarty play Mr. and Mrs. Strauss. Mrs. Strauss chose to turn down a seat on a lifeboat to remain on the sinking ship with her husband.
