BHS Students Work On Making Our District Greener

Last week I was fortunate to see a presentation done by two BHS students (Stephen Jefferson and Jenna Jaffe pictured above) referencing our school system's carbon footprint. Stephen and Jenna were assisted by Gretchen Carey, the Chairman of the Burlington Recycling Committee, in preparing this great overview of where our school has been and where we can go in the future in regards to conservation and being responsible about the use of resources.

Check out the impressive slideshow below. During the course of the presentation, Stephen and Jenna were happy to find out that we have already implemented some of the changes suggested. We look forward to sharing more information on our efforts to go green in the near future.
