Edublog Winners 2009 - The Best PD On The Planet Is a Click Away

The annual Edublog Awards for 2009 were handed out yesterday. I was thrilled to see that Richard Byrne (Free Technology for Teachers), Steven Anderson (Web 2.0 Classroom) were among the winners. They are two of the most widely-viewed bloggers in the realm of education and web 2.0. The free resources they bring forward to their followers daily are truly amazing. They are providing the highest quality Professional Development that I have ever received!

As a matter of fact, I think that if we just gave our teachers time to spend reviewing these resources and did nothing else with Professional Development then we would increase the quality of our Professional Development efforts exponentially. (Just a note that there are a number of other amazing bloggers who were also nominated for Edublog Awards who provide educators with an unending stream of best practices!)
