BHS Holiday Traditions - Just Keeps Getting Better

video

HolidayTraditions at BHS is one of the highlights of the year! I learn so much from our students about their backgrounds and the traditions that are important to them and their families. It is great that in a day and age where there tends to be some sensitivity about recognizing holidays, we have decided to recognize them all at BHS (at least all of them that are significant to our staff and students). Check out the clips from today's festivities.

Once again we had many tables that showed and shared the traditions, food, languages, celebrations, clothing, music and cultures of countries from Africa, Asia, South America, Europe and beyond.

Some examples of tables with holidays and world religions that we will had were:
Diwali
Holi
Christmas
New Year's
Hannukah
Onam
Hispanic Traditions
Eid-ul-Adha
Eid-ul-Fitr
Sacca
Navatri
Ganesh Chatuthri
Jainism
Sikhism
