Virtual High School Program Used At BHS Highlighted In Boston Globe

In the clip above, senior Brianna Gainley does work for her VHS class 101 Ways to Write a Short Story. Brianna has enjoyed the class and she gets to interact with students from all over the world in some of the on-line discussions, including a classmate from Brazil. The Virtual High School collaborative involves more than 9,500 students, 419 schools, and 260 teachers in 28 states and 23 countries. BHS currently has more than 20 students participating in an on-line course this fall and there are still a number of seats open for a VHS course during the spring semester. Interested students should see their guidance counselor.
