Dear Parent or Guardian,
Burlington High will also host its annual Back-to-School Night on Thursday, September 17, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. This annual event provides parents with an opportunity to meet their child’s teachers while experiencing a simulated school day.
Parents are invited to meet with the high school administrators in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. to hear an update on new and ongoing initiatives designed to help BHS meet its school improvement goals. After a brief introduction, on these initiatives parents will have an opportunity to address their questions or concerns. Back-to-School Night will begin for all grades in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. with a brief homeroom period. After homeroom, parents will follow their child’s class schedule. During each class, teachers will provide an overview of the course curriculum and distribute Course Expectation Handouts.
