Science MCAS For Grade 9 Thursday and Friday

Science MCAS testing will begin tomorrow for all 9th graders. All Massachusetts High School students need to pass a Science MCAS test in order to receive high school diploma.
Testing will begin immediately after homeroom and run for 90 minutes. Students will be tested in either Physics or Biology depending on their 9th grade science course. The Science MCAS testing will continue on Friday and also run for 90 minutes following homeroom.

Please ensure that your child gets a good night’s sleep and has a good breakfast prior to each exam day. Students are reminded to bring several sharpened #2 pencils. Testing room assignments are as follows:
  • Homeroom 248 (Mrs. Saxe) - tests in room 201
  • Homeroom 249 (Mrs. Guerra) – tests in room 202
  • Homeroom 250 (Mrs. Sykes) – tests in room 203
  • Homeroom 251 (Ms. Boyle) – tests in room 206
  • Homeroom 252 (Mr. McNeil) – tests in room 207
  • Homeroom 253 (Ms. Abbott) – tests in room 208
  • Homeroom 257A (Mrs. Gentile) – tests in room 209
  • Homeroom 257B (Mrs. Hoerle) – tests in room 210
  • Homeroom 259 (Mr. Kagan) – tests in room 212
  • Homeroom 260 (Mr. Liljegren) – tests in room 216
  • Homeroom 241 (Mrs. Chang) – tests in room 217A
