Burlington Educational Theatre Program Begins This Summer For Grades 2-12 - Guest Post From Our Music Boosters Publicity Chair Vanessa Ovian

Dear Music Booster friends,

What great success we’ve had this year supporting everything that the music department has sponsored. Most notable in recent days, of course, is the HUGE, RECORD-BREAKING success of "The Wizard of Oz."

I want to share some great news with you. Based on the great productions and high level of interest in town, not to mention the superbly talented staff who made it all possible, Burlington Public Schools is now including the BURLINGTON EDUCATIONAL SUMMER THEATRE, or BEST, as one of its summer programs. This theatre workshop will be for grades 2-12 and will work towards a full production of "Annie, Jr." for grades 2-7 and "Bye Bye Birdie" in grades 8-12.

PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are this coming week!

If you have any friends or relatives in Burlington whose children might be interested, feel free to forward this email to them. This looks like a tremendous opportunity for all our kids to have an "entertaining" summer!
