Faria Sets Another School Record At All-States, One Of Five Red Devils Who Qualify For Nationals

Shane Faria once again broke his school record in the 300 meters. Coming into the All-State Championships Friday night as the number 17 seed, Shane ran a 36.06 to finish fourth in the state and move on to the New Englands Championship this upcoming Friday.

Also competing at the All-States were seniors Anthony Salvucci in the 2 mile, Ryan Murphy and Brett Gilbert in the shot put, and freshman David Taranto (one of only two freshmen in the state to qualify for the meet) in the 1000 meters.

Faria, Murphy, Gilbert, Taranto, and David Farland have all qualified to compete in the National Championships in New York City on March 13-15.
