BHS Robotix Team Gears Up For FIRST Competition

The Burlington High School Robotix team is preparing for our school's first venture into the FIRST Robotics competition. FIRST stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology and their are over 1600 teams worldwide that compete in the annual competition.

The BHS Robot was picked up today and shipped to Boston in preparation for the competition which will take place on March 5-7 at Agganis Arena. For more on the Boston Regional competition click on the link.

The BHS Robotix team shows off their robot which will compete in the upcoming FIRST Robotics competition at Boston University.



Mike Grumbach from Lockheed Martin has been instrumental in the preparation for the FIRST competition


Jim Stamboni, a retired senior vice president from Textron Systems has also donated countless hours to help Mr. Vachon and the BHS team.
