The Burlington High School Boys Gymnastics Team did not go down without a fight, despite losing a number of seniors from last year's squad. Braintree High took home this year's title with 176.8 in last Friday's finals and Burlington was the 17-time state champion's closest compeition, finishin second with 164.45 points. There was a big drop off after the top two squads with Attleboro in third place (139.05) and Andover in fourth place (128.9).
Alex Foster was the lone Burlington winner, scoring 7.8 on the rings. Chris Brown was the top overall BHS gymnast, finishing fourth overall. For a complete story on the state meet check out the on-line article from the Burlington Union.
