BHS Cheerleaders Continue Winning Ways

A few members of our Middlesex Champion Football Cheering squad.

The Burlington High School Cheerleaders are once again the Middlesex League Champs after outscoring the second place team by 11 points. The Red Devils Football Cheerleaders, who are coached by BHS grad Courtney Mattos, took the league title in front of their home fans last Saturday. The defending state and national champions will compete in the Regional Championship on Sunday November 16 at Woburn High School.

Both the BHS Football and Soccer Cheerleaders also recently competed in the Medford Invitational on Nov. 2nd. Each team placed first in their respective division with the football cheerleaders receiving the Grand Championship title (overall highest score of the day). Our Soccer Cheerleaders also placed 2nd in the Stacey Stott Invitational and won two specialty awards, one for creative choreography and the other for Outstanding Community Service.
