Bay Path Offers 18 More BHS Students The Opportunity To Earn College Credits

One aspect of the growing partnership between Burlington High School and our in-house college, Bay Path, is the opportunity for our students to earn Bay Path College credits. We currently have 16 students finishing a first semester Business course and we are excited to announce details of our second semester Humanities course. Juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for this course, but seating is limited (18 students).

The course description and the dates that the course will meet follows:

COURSE: HUM 101-10 –-- Fine and Performing Arts - 3 credits
Instructor: Diane Lewis
Location: BHS- Room 129
Tuesdays 6 pm – 9 pm; January 27, 2009 – April 14, 2009 (No class February 17, 2009)
This course highlights significant aspects of music, theatre, dance, and art. Specific musical compositions, art works, and theatre pieces will be explored as expressions of historical events and changing values. Off-campus activities, such as play, a concert, and museum exhibit, extend the classroom experience.
