BHS Welcomes Students fom Cles, Italy

Our students made welcoming signs for our guests

We are thrilled to have 15 students and 3 teachers from Cles, Italy joining us here at Burlington High School this week. This is the second time that a group from C.A. Pilati school in the province of Trentino has joined us here at BHS. Despite a long flight with an emergency stop in Iceland (due to the illness of a crew member), the students and three teachers arrived bright-eyed at BHS this morning.

They have a number of day trips planned during their stay and our hope is to repay the kindness and hospitality that they showed our students and teachers who visited them in Italy last fall.
Please check out the pictures below: Our guests presented us with a beautiful hand-painted clock for our school. The other two pictures are from a welcoming reception we had for our guests this morning in the cafeteria where they were greeted by our Superintendent Dr. Conti and the Burlington High Administrative team.
